Faith Forward Housing, LLC — Shared Supportive Housing FAQ

Shared supportive housing is a living model where adults live together in a home while receiving community-based support and structure to help maintain housing stability. Faith Forward Housing provides safe, independent housing with clear expectations, community standards, and supportive community resources. 

Eligibility is based on the ability to live independently and meet program requirements. Our housing is designed for adults who are:

• Veterans
• Seniors
• Individuals transitioning from homelessness
• Adults seeking stable, affordable housing 

Residents must have verifiable income and be able to live responsibly in a shared environment.

Faith Forward Housing, LLC provides community support and structure, but we do not provide medical care or clinical services.
Support includes:

• Monthly community meetings
• Community accountability
• Housing stability support
• Limited transportation support
• Referrals to external community resources

Residents are encouraged to maintain their own healthcare and support services through outside providers.

Roommate matching is based on compatibility, lifestyle, and shared respect. We assess each applicant to ensure they can live independently and respectfully within a shared home. 

Yes. Faith Forward Housing, LLC is designed to be affordable and stable. Rent includes all utilities, including Wi-Fi, and free laundry access. Residents may also use vouchers such as HUD-VASH, if applicable. 

 Amenities vary by home, but typically include:

• Fully furnished bedrooms and common areas 
• Utilities included (electric, water, trash, Wi-Fi)
• Free on-site laundry
• Safe, well-maintained properties

Lease terms typically range from 12–24 months, with the option to renew. Our goal is to provide long-term stability and independence. 

Applicants can apply directly or be referred by:

• Social workers 
• Case managers
• Veterans service providers
• Community organizations

Application includes:

• Intake assessment
• Proof of income or voucher
• Interview/screening

Yes. Faith Forward Housing, LLC maintains a zero tolerance policy for:

• Violence or threats 
• Illegal drugs or criminal activity 
• Weapons on the premises 
• Property damage 
• Theft or disruptive behavior

No. Our program serves single adults only (18+). 

No. Faith Forward Housing, LLC does not provide rental or utility assistance. 

All program fees are non-refundable. If the program is not a good fit, we will provide referrals to other community resources.
